This eau de parfum has taken months to formulate, perfect and mature. An elevated reformulation of the original perfume oil, Spring Blush. This was such a pleasurable perfume to formulate! I am not one for gourmands generally, but this perfume felt so playful in its expression. Tart yet deeply ripe strawberries, room temp vanilla bean infused milk, a soft white resin rich amber -- and a dusting of coriander powder.
Each perfume bottle is made of quality glass and numbered to denote its small batch nature.
Top notes: coriander, gingergrass
Mid notes: ripe strawberry, milk accord*, vanilla bean
Base notes: labdanum, benzoin, ambranum, frankincense
*milk accord is vegan safe and contains no dairy derived ingredients

I really enjoyed this scent. The milk accord is creamy, smooth and warm. It reminds me of a delicious strawberry cream pie. The tart strawberry makes this gourmand not super sweet and balanced, which is a big plus for me.
It's delicious smelling and I say that as someone who doesn't normally like gourmands.
I don't usually choose sweet, fruity scents, but Britton's posts about this one persuaded me that it could win over even gourmand-dislikers, so I thought I would give it a try -- and it's true! The strawberry is unmistakably present, and so is the milkiness, but somehow very well integrated into the living animal-ness of me. A bit as if I had somehow been turned into a magical creature whose skin and sweat just happened to naturally smell of strawberries? In any case, this is a lovely fragrance for encouraging the optimism of spring: cheerful and delicious without being childish or sticky. Inviting. Great to catch a whiff of when I turn my head and realize it's me. Very more-ish.
But what exactly does it smell like? Well, I invited my kid to smell my wrist about an hour after I'd applied this and asked them how it smelled. They said: "Mmm. Delicious! Warm. Soft. Like something good to drink? But also like... summer, in a sunbeam." So there you have it.
