Ponderosa Pine Resin Salve

This balm starts with a long drive over the Cascade mountains to an older growth Ponderosa Pine forest that I've developed a relationship with over the years. I delicately  gather resin, only gathering the excess that runs down the trees. A very time consuming process.

This was carried back to my work studio and infused into sunflower oil over low heat until fully dissolved and blended with raw beeswax. 

The pine resins leave a very light scent to the skin, and has many benefits for cuts, scrapes and acts as a gentle chest rub when you're dealing with chest congestion.
