This balm starts with a long drive over the Cascade mountains to an older growth Ponderosa Pine forest that I've developed a relationship with over the years. I delicately gather resin, only gathering the excess that runs down the trees. A very time consuming process.
This was carried back to my work studio and infused into sunflower oil over low heat until fully dissolved and blended with raw beeswax.
The pine resins leave a very light scent to the skin, and has many benefits for cuts, scrapes and acts as a gentle chest rub when you're dealing with chest congestion.

My nails have been dry and brittle for years. Hand washing, cleaning, age, health related issues, you name it, they've affected them. I've been using a commercially available nail oil for over a year and it barely does anything.

A little goes a long way, and it absorbs well without feeling greasy. I carry this in my purse so I can use it whenever I feel I need it. I absolutely love this salve!
I have a jar of this that I've been using since the first batch was sold and it is truly magical. This is my go to for any and all wounds I get, and every time there is noticeable difference after even just a few hours. This stuff pulled a microscopic piece of broken glass out of my foot. I carry it with me everywhere and all my friends are probably sick of me offering them my "tree sap jar" every time they get a papercut. I cannot recommend it enough!
