Nightshade Eau de Parfum is Inspired by a summer of growing heirloom tomatoes in rich soil. This perfume is dedicated to my Mamaw, a true southern tomato queen.
True tomato leaf is the core of this perfume. Sharp edges are made gentle with green fig, bright bergamot and basil leaf. Warmed rich soil* and dark aged patchouli hold everything down.
*if you feel cautious about dirt notes, this "dirt" accord is not overwhelming -- but leans more into a soft loamy feeling.
Top notes:bergamot, tomato leaf & vine
Mid notes: green fig, basil leaf
Base notes: dark aged patchouli, rich garden soil

Britton, I don't know what you've done here but I know that it is GOOOOOOD. This scent does magnificent things to me. It makes me feel like I am one with the forest, even when I'm surrounded by people. 10/10! My new signature scent.

I wasn't expecting Nightshade to affect me the way it did. The opening immediately reminded me of walking through a summer garden with its beautiful green tomato leaves. As it dried down, though, something magical happened. It became the scent of my grandmother's home—the vintage perfumes, the potpourri, the warmth, and the comfort. I remember reading that you created this fragrance to capture the feeling of being with your grandmother. Somehow, your art brought me back to mine. It made me really miss her, and that's a beautiful thing to me. Thank you for creating something so deeply moving. You are a remarkable artist. Thank you for sharing your gift.
