Named for a genre of music that includes bands like, Wild Nothing, Beach Fossils, Atlas Sound, Washed Out, DIIV, Soft Powers, Craft Spells, Small Black, Gardens & Villa. I could have called it, synesthesia, where one would associate sounds with color, taste, etc... because an orange creamsicle tastes like what dream pop sounds like.

This perfume opens with bold and surprisingly tenacious blood orange, slowly revealing a frosted around the edges vanilla custard ice cream. No creamsicle is complete without the stick, but this is no ordinary stick... premium Imperial sandalwood with creamy and almost buttery like notes holds the base of this nostalgic scent of summer.

Top notes: blood orange, sweet orange heart, sinensal ex orange

Mid notes: frozen vanilla custard ice cream

Base notes: Imperial sandalwood, amyris

Best Orange Cream Iteration Ever

I have been on the lookout for ages for a good orange cream scent and this is it. When first applied you get the brightest blood orange wrapped up in gentle vanilla cream. On dry down it settles in to the sandalwood more. I am totally in love with this one and plan to full size it as soon as I can. It's the perfect grown up creamsicle!

Beautiful depth in summer scent

I am always hesitant about orange scents; they often turn into straight orange juice on my skin. I'm happy to report this one does not - the blood orange is still juicy and fresh but the ice cream and sandalwood give it creaminess and depth that make this wear gorgeously throughout the day. I think this is one of my go to options for summer now!
